I bought these shafts to use with Miniature Model Bearing 608ZZ 8x22x7 but the fit is too tight to push the bearing on to the shaft. I have deburred the ends but that wasn't the problem. Have I bought the wrong shaft for these bearings?

Ian,
We have sold these bearings and silver steel for many years. There is certainly a burr on the ends of the shafts and it has to be removed. The bearings and steel are a precision fit. It may be a case of the bearings are at the bottom end of their tolerance allowance and the steel at the top end making them a particularly tight fit.
I would suggest trying to deburr the ends again but if still no success, send them back to us along with a copy of the invoice and we will check them out and replace as necessary.
