Aluminium housing with 5mm bore steel ball bearing inserted. Supplied complete with M3x25mm fixing screws, shaft not supplied but available from the steel shafts department. Mounting holes at 14mm centres.
Size: 19 x 19 x 10mm Bearing centre 9.5mm from base.
We do not have any further information on the fixings. We would suggest that if your application is so demanding that it requires something other than general 'run of the mill' standard fasteners then this is probably not the product for you.
Is the shaft fixed in this bearing? How could I use this in combination with a 5mm shaft and wheel? I should be able to fix the shaft axially somehow and attach a motor to it. You probably have some specifications on it, how much Newton can the bearing withstand axially and radial?
This is an interesting product but I would much easier to use with some more information with it.
No the shaft is not fixed in the bearing as is the case in all bearings manufactured without a 'hub'.
The shaft will not move when fixed to the motor shaft so why would you need to fix the shaft to the bearing?
There is no more information available and probably not needed. Whilst we could publish the bearing data, this is meaningless as it does not include the housing. Bottom line is that this bearing and housing is more than adequate for any model application using a 5mm shaft. Other areas of your build are likely to fail before this bearing assembly.
