Hi. Can you tell me if the outer bearing side is curved or flat. You can see in the picture below it is curved, but I need one that isnt curved:

James, All insert bearings for pressed steel housings are spherical to allow for self aligning once in the housing. We do not stock any bearings with grub screw fixing that have a flat surface. Regards Paul |

Thank you for the reply. Do you not sell any kind of bearing with a flat outer surface which also has some kind of grub screw to stop the shaft being pulled through? |

As I mentioned in our earlier reply, we do not. Flat sides means they will not be gripped within the housing. Two solutions and we have used both - 1. Stepped shafts and 2. Collars like 4609-071. |
