Hi.

Can you tell me if the outer bearing side is curved or flat. You can see in the picture below it is curved, but I need one that isnt curved:

To make it a little more clear, I need the bearing to look like this side on:

Notice the flat sides

James,

All insert bearings for pressed steel housings are spherical to allow for self aligning once in the housing. We do not stock any bearings with grub screw fixing that have a flat surface.

Thank you for the reply. Do you not sell any kind of bearing with a flat outer surface which also has some kind of grub screw to stop the shaft being pulled through?

As I mentioned in our earlier reply, we do not. Flat sides means they will not be gripped within the housing. Two solutions and we have used both - 1. Stepped shafts and 2. Collars like 4609-071.
