Steve,

We do not have anything in our range but they would make a useful addition. We will have wheels arriving soon that will fit the splined shaft of standard servos like the Futaba S3003 and similar.

I'm looking to do a similar thing to Steve, mount a gear onto a futaba 3003 servo.
I've not managed to find anything on the site that appears to do the job, is anything available yet?

If not what is the recommended way of attaching a gear to a servo?

An easy option is to attach whatever you need to fit (gears, wheels, pointers etc) to a round nylon servo horn using miniature nuts and bolts. This horn would be acting as a hub and would be accurately splined. Maybe even using two round horns together (face to face) with the chosen cogwheel sandwiched in between both horns would be a better choice as it would allow a higher coupling strength. Hope this helps.

Nigel,

Some good advice there from Dave and is a method that we recently used to good effect ourselves. We stock a number of round servo horns although they are not on the website yet as the site is being rebuilt at the moment. We didn't find it necessary to use two horns but that's not to say it would not be a stronger solution if the application demands it.

Hi, just wondering if you sell any sprokets which will work with your plastic chain (4601-000), and mount to a servo?

Duane,

No we don't have any sprockets that will mount direct onto a servo. We do have servo wheels 4611-004 that you could fix to our sprockets. Not ideal but it's a solution.
