Anthony, if you click on the photo for this product, it will give you the chain size which is 1/4" which we cannot currently supply.

You cannot use gears on chain. Many of our customers are taking the supplied sprocket off the motor and using one of our heavier duty sprockets. Sorry but not sure what you mean by your last question regarding threaded rod.

I have purchase a 200w motor (MY1016B1M) and am looking to connect it to a gear system. I bought a 6mm pitch chain and sprocket, but found that the chain did not exactly fit the motor sprocket. Do you have an 11-tooth 6mm pitch sprocket that would fit onto the motor?

Robert,

The motors are supplied with a 6.35mm (1/4") sprocket for which we do not stock a matching size chain. We do stock a wide range of sprockets and I'm sure you will find as suitable size but you will need to drill and tap a hole in the boss of the sprocket to fit it to the shaft. I'm not back in the office for a couple of days to check the motor shaft diameter but you will need to make sure that the sprocket bore and motor shaft match. Whilst a sprocket boss can be drilled out larger, there are limits for which we suggest a 3mm wall thickness minimum on the 6mm 11T sprockets. The chances are that 6mm 11T will be too small for the motor shaft but until I confirm the motor shaft I cannot be certain.
