Hi i have got a 24volt led indicator for my heavy weight robot i hope to run it at 36 volts from time to time. what resistor do i have to put in series to adjust the voltage to 24 volts for the LED |

Craig, R=(36-24)/I where I is the nominal current (A) drawn by the LED at 24V. |

It is LED 24V Yellow Chrome Recessed - Part No: 2210-020 I don't know the value for I current drawn at 24v. do you have this information? |

Craig, It's a single chip LED and thus draws a standard 20mA so you would need a 600 Ohm resistor of over 0.24W. I would suggest a 680R resistor part number 2001-560 which are supplied in packs of 10 for 39p. |
