Hello I am building a camera mount to be carried by a JR GSR 260 I need to buy some pullies for wires or toothed belts to pan and tilt the camera and was wondering if you have anything suitable.
There is a pic on Helicam Asia's web site in the new products section if you have time to look.

Thanks Nick Wadman

Hello Nick,

We are frequently asked about pan / tilt interfacing for camera mounts although yours is the first for suspending under a model helicopter. I did not manage to find the website you referred to so I shall make some assumptions.

I'll assume the camera is light and you need the overall weight of the pan / tilt mechanism to be low. Our range of toothed pulleys is almost certainly too large and heavy for your application. Any slip in the pan / tilt mechanism will be undesired so I would be reluctant to recommend ordinary pulleys and belts. Is there anyway you can use direct drive from servo's.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Regards

Paul

Need a take up miniature pulley used on a model motor. It is 1-3/4" diameter with a less than 1/8" bore and must have a built in screw to lock it on the shaft through the bore.

Robert,

Apologies for the delay in replying. The only pulleys we have that have a screw fixing is the machined aluminium range but the max diameter available is 1". So sorry we are unable to help this time.

Greetings. I noticed from your website that you can provide plastic pulleys up to a diameter of 60mm. Can you provide similar pulleys up to a diameter of 100 to 150mm diameter

Pat,

Sorry but no, I have checked our suppliers and 60mm is the largest in plastic.
