I am currently building a 1/12th scale model lifeboat and am installing 4x850 motors. Are they suppressed internally as there is no evidence of any externally. |

Brian, As far as we are aware, all MFA motors are supplied with a capacitor soldered across the motor terminals for suppression. However, you are quite right that the 850 does not have one across the terminals externally. We will have to find out if one is fitted internally. In the meantime, if you have already purchased the motors from us, let us know and we will send 4 capacitors in the post to you. If you intend to purchase the motors from us, on your order simply include a message requesting the capacitors. It will not be a problem to double up the suppression just in case they are fitted internally. |

Roy, Wires are not supplied but your wiring is simply soldered on. Yes, a capacitor is soldered directly across the motor terminations. |
