These lost cost miniature crocodile clips (or spring clips) are used as a temporary electrical connector. Connection is be means of a permanently soldered wire. The clip is mostly covered by a plastic shroud or "boot" to prevent accidental short-circuits. Its toothed jaws open to about 6mm with a positive grip and they are suitable for all low voltage wiring configurations.
