These 0.1" (2.54mm) female header strips are commonly used as low-cost connectors for custom-made cables, perforated prototyping PCBs or for piggy backing smaller boards on a main board. The standard spacing is the same as on most solderless breadboards and matches our 0.1" (2.54mm) male header strips. Our female headers cannot be broken into smaller strips, but they come in a variety of commonly used pin counts. This particular type lies flat on the PCB due to its right angle formed pins. Ideal for daisy chaining PCB's.
