These crimp terminals are used with the crimp housing headers to make up cable assemblies. Wire size 0.055mm2 to 0.33mm2, we typically use our 7/0.2mm equipment wire, see photo above where we used these crimp housings for a battery balancing connector for A123 M1 Lithium packs we custom made for a customer. Whilst these crimps are intended to be used with a special crimping tool, good results can also be achieved by soldering the wires to the crimp. The assembled housing is then used to mate with the corresponding header.
Note that these crimps are only suitable for housings 2701-3xx and not for our housings intended for pre-crimped wires 2702-0xx.
