Hi,

I'm looking for motors with worm gear type gearheads for a project which requires position holding when the motor power is removed. I've had a look at your geared motors and it looks like motor
"24V 200W Geared 203rpm MY7712NZ 1471-103" is the only one with what looks like it may have this type of gearing.

Can you confirm this? Do any of the others have worm gear gearheads. I've still to do the power sums but I'm probably looking at motors between 100 and 300W output.

Hello Ian,

It's good to hear from you and thank you for the many links to the Technobots site from your excellent site.

You are quite right, that is the only model we have with a worm drive and they are rather nice motors. I intend to use one on my Son's trike when I find time.
