Hi, hope this is the right place to post this. I am hoping to construct a tracked robot using the Solarbotics track peices. I am considering ordering 7 cogs and 48 links for each side. The robot will be controlled via a microcontroller and it will require a suitable motor (not sure which) , I estimate the weight to be roughly 5.5kg Cheers! |

James, That appears to be quite heavy for the Solarbotics track links but should be possible. What speed are you after as that speed is needed to determine the motor. |
