An ideal starter radio set that operates on the 2.4GHz band and does not require any crystals. Much less prone to radio interference than those sets operating on the 27-40MHz bands.

This set includes a 6-channel transmitter and 6-channel receiver already paired together (that means that the receiver will only respond to this transmitter even if similar or identical sets are operating nearby) but it is easy to pair another receiver to work with this transmitter.

Featuring 4 full proportional channels from the two XY joysticks (note left hand stick 'Y' axis is non-spring return with a ratchet click for use as a throttle channel) + two switched channels (5 & 6). Servo reversing switches for all four proportional channels. Battery condition LED's and trainer system.

Supplied complete in quality retail packaging that you can continue to use to protect your transmitter from damage when carrying it around. Requires 8 AA batteries that are not included.

Additional receivers also available.

You need a RC relay. If your LED load is under 1A, use a PicoSwitch 3400-021 which can be found in 'Interfaces'. You can also cut and paste this link.

"After having several months good use out of my saturn 2.4ghz radio control system, I have encountered a new problem. After having not used my radio control system for over a month, I decided to get it out and use it again, however the transmitter was no longer connecting to the receiver and the LED was flashing on and off slowly. I tried the procedure given to me previously involving the PDM button and the pairing button, but it is not working this time. The LED just continues to flash rapidly and never connects to the transmitter.
Is there anything I can do?

"me and my brother got a problem with our receiver. we triede so many times to pair them but we cant i did like you said:

Please try the following pairing procedure and let us know:

1. Turn on the receiver power supply first, press down the pair button for more than 2 seconds. The receivers LED will blink quickly.

2. Hold down the transmitters PDM button and then switch on the transmitter power switch. The transmitter Red and Green LED's will flash alternately, then release the PDM button.

3. Press the transmitter PDM button again. When pairing is complete, the receiver LED will stop blinking and stay on. The transmitter LED's will also stop flashing.

4. After a few seconds, the receiver should start to respond to the transmitter.

5. Finally, turn off the transmitter and back on again to store the pairing."

but the receiver still flashing and the transmitter stop with blink? what to do please help!"

"Knut,

It will take 8 off NiCd or NiMH AA cells, you can then use any suitable charger for 9.6V. Simply make up a charging lead with the power plug on one end and the connectors that your charger uses on the other. We do stock ready made transmitter chargers such as 1071-006."

We do not have any manufacturers data to advise this and will also depend on your installation. It is however comparable to any other typical RC Tx/Rx so look for 100's of metres for aircraft use."

"I'm having trouble pairing the transmitter to the receiver. I turn on the transmitter then plug in the receiver to a battery, the LED flashes once per second, I then press the pair button down as it says in the instructions and after two seconds the LED starts flashing very rapidly but it never seems to stop. It doesn't seem to be able to find the transmitter or something as I've left it doing this for a while several times and it doesn't stop, and I can't control my servos at all. Am I doing something wrong or is it faulty? Thanks"
