This motor will not give you the speed you are after even if you run it at 14.4V (2 off RC packs). We would suggest that you need 15W of motor power per kg, so that is a pair of 90W motors. This is just a guess and you may get away with less as it depends on the tank speed which dictates torque. We do not have any suitable motors but hopefully it gives you a starting poing for searching elsewhere. When you find a motor, let us know the specs and we will match a motor controller for you."

I would suggest the 1506-007 which is a 2x25A dual channel controller with RC interface built in.

Sorry but we cannot recommend a motor for your application without knowing the specification. The ratio is not how you select a geared motor as motors come in various speeds, you need to quote the final rpm, final torque, voltage and weight would be useful. Tanks need lots of torque which varies on the running surface as I'm sure you already know."

Please see product description for figure of 5.5A (5.5 x 12V x 63% = 42W).
Clearly if you load it further than its design rating, it will draw more current but this should be avoided except for short durations such as during accceleration periods. Maximum current will occur when stalled and this will quickly destroy the motor."
