This custom-designed plastic wheel by Pololu has a rubber tyre measuring (42 mm) in diameter and is designed to fit the output shafts on our model geared motors fitted with a 3mm 'D' shaft. Teeth on the hub optionally allow a reflectance sensor to be used for encoder feedback. Note some of the geared motors have rather short shafts which means the wheel has to be attached the other way around for a firm fit.
