Hi, what a great site! Hopefully you can help. I am looking for a 12v DC brushless motor (doesn't have to be brushless, but it's prefered) that can move 12kg of camera! I want to make a pan & tilt system for my video camera. I have made one with the following motor specs below but it can only move 6kg of camera! Do you have any motors with roughly the same spec as below but obviously with more torque in order to move 12kg of camera? Hello Kevin, Please take a look at our MFA range of geared motors. For example, the 1450-106 gives 4 rpm at 12V with a theoretical torque of 196kg-cm. Your quoted desired figure of just 6kg-cm appears very low for such a heavily geared motor. |

Petr, Sorry but none of our geared motors are quoted as having zero backlash. However, you may well find that one of our planetry geared motors will offer sufficient performance. Check out 1450-061 which gives 50 rpm at 6V. |
