Alex, We have a small range of MOD 0.6 gears with grub screw fixing on the Technobots site. As part of our expanding range of transmission products, we will be able to offer MOD 0.5 pilot bore gears with hubs to special order with a typical lead time of 3-7 days. In MOD 0.5, a pitch of 25mm is of course a 50T gear with an OD of 26mm. Width is 8mm incl boss, bore is 5mm. These have a list price of £17.55 each incl VAT. Ordering 5 off will bring the price down by 20%. If this is of interest, let us know. 5mm bore bearings with double shields are available from stock. |

Hi Paul Can you get hold of 0.75 mod steel spur gears with 26 teath and 52 teath with boss? i think the hole size std is 5 or 6mm but it is not of major importance. Best regards Paul Shredder...team that was!!! |

Hi Paul Thanks Yes has been a while..good to see everything is going well. may be i could use mod 0.7 or 8 it will depend on the OD and pcd of the gear..have you got some specs for the 26 and 52 gears and approx price please.. It is for a model ic engine i am building, a bit removed from robots!! Many thanks paul |

Hi Paul, We are in the process of listing a wider range of gears on the website. I do not have the dimensions to hand but it is possible to work it out, see this thread http://www.technobots.co.uk/discus/messages/5/827.html?1192953132 which explains it. Any problems post back here. We can supply the gears from 12T to 72T but no 26 or 52T. We can do 25 & 50T is that helps. Regards Paul |

Hi Paul Thanks this may well do...as i require a 2 to 1 ratio i will check out the dimensions. the 25t & 50t gear will need a boss. internal bore is not a problem as i will machnine them.. Approx cost for the gears? if mod 0.7 / 0.8 Thanks for your trouble again... Best regards Paul |

Hello, I'm looking at buying some mod1 gears, 12, 13x2, and 14 tooth (5mm shaft). these will be the speical order pinions. my question is do these come predrilled and tapped for a grub screw for fixing? (also is the grub screw included) Thanks for your time, stuart |

Stuart, I can confirm that these gears are pilot bore and thus will need boring out to the size you need and then drilling and tapping for the grub screw fixing. |

Hello, thanks for your reply. can your company do this work need on these pinions? and also a costing would be great! I need a m3 grub screw fitted to all pinions, and then them bored to fit a 5mm driveshaft. thanks stuart collins. |

Unfortunately we do not offer a customer machining service. Whilst we sell thousands of pilot bore gears and sprockets, it is an area that we decided not to invest in. A local machine shop to you would probably be your best bet. Regards Paul |
