This model linear actuator kit consists of a 5mm diameter screw driven by a miniature model dc motor. When operated, the plastic block (integral brass nut) / push rod assembly traverses up and down as the motor runs forwards and backwards. Also supplied is a pair of microswitches that are used as end of travel limit switches so as to stop the block from jamming up at the ends and thus stalling the motor. We even include a slide switch for manual operation although it is possible to make it radio controlled with the right interface. Instruction leaflet included.

We do not stock anything larger but wish we did. We have not managed to find anything on the market that would be suitable so are looking at getting our own manufactured but that is some months off."

"Alan,

The manufacturer does not quote a figure but measuring the maximum travel gives about 67mm. From this you will need to subtract an allowance at each end for operation of the supplied micro switches. I would expect that you would achieve over 50mm operational stroke."
