Can you tell me what Ah 12V botpacks you would recommend for running 2 x B&S Etek motors as drives in a 100kg combat robot for "normal" battle conditions. I will be using a separate 12V pack for each motor.

Thanks

Andy,

You did not leave an Email address so hopefully you will spot this reply.

The number of Bot-Packs depends on running time, peak current and average current. I can guess at 5 minutes for the running time, can you advise the running current and are you using a speed controller with current limiting?

Is this a 24V to 48V version that you will be running at 12V? We have run Perm Power Drives at 24V off 3 packs in parallel and is the usual configuration. Others have run LEM's off 3 packs, sometimes 4 packs.

If you can answer these points, we will be happy to advise.
