"Ian,

No, 40MHz is restricted to surface based models only (land and water). You need 35MHz or 2.4GHz."

"Philip

Questions relating to specif products should be posted under the Q&A tab of that product.

The receiver channels are paired with the transmitter channels so simply look in the transmitter handbook and that will state what stick / switch is associated with what channel. "

"Steven,

As your question relates to the Diesel engine sound unit, your question has been copied there."

"I have just purchased a Diesel sound simulator, I am using a Viper marine 15 speed control the instructions say i have to remove the red wire from the speed control lead if using an external battery supply. It says in the speed control instruction that i must remove the ESC lead from the receiver and plug a lead from the sound unit inits place. the wire from the sound unit still has the red write in its place will this damage the ESC? The original lead from the ESC then plugs into the sound unit, but the red wire will be disconnected, will this work?

hope you can help,

Steven J"

"Daniel,

We offer a design and build consultancy service but it would be at a cost. It is rather unreasonable to expect anyone to design you a circuit with a bill of materials and email it to you for free!

Maybe one of our customers will spot your post and take on the challenge for free but I would be really surprised."

"HI, I am a paintballer and Iam looking to set up a laser pointer so I can turn it on remotely up to 10 meters... can anyone please design me a circuit board including the transmitter and reciever ..With a full list of parts and tools needed, the only requirements are that it has to be small and the transmitter can control up to four lasers at once (the transmitter needs to be as small as possible) and can you please email me all information.

Thank You

"Mike,

I would imagine that the wheelchair motors will be fine but beware of any braking solenoid. You will find it easier to control the motors using a motor speed controller with RC interface as the motor controller in a wheelchair is joystick controlled.

A shopping list is impossible for us as we have many thousands of customers all building different things. There are plenty of Daleks / R2D2 forums out there which can help with general queries. Our old forum has plenty of general information and is likely to answer most question you have or are likely to have in controlling the Dalek. See http://www.technobots.co.uk/cgi-bin/discus/discus.cgi/

You are unlikely to need servos and unfortunately we are not a teaching resource but more than happy to assist with specific questions"

"Hi
You've probably been asked this many times before but..
I have a full sized Dalek and have bought an electric wheelchair. I want to strip the wheelchair and use the motors for the drive. Should I use this or would motors and wheels from yourself be an easier option.
I also want to operate this and other features by remote control.
Servos are new to me and I don't understand the different types.
Do you have a "shopping list" I should start with
Thanks
Mike"
