For many years we have undertaken a wide variety of projects for customers but has been a service we have never publicised. This is an area of our business that we shall be expanding over the coming years hence this dedicated area of the website to our bespoke engineering services.

Technobots, whilst a relatively small company does have excellent in-house expertise as well as access to freelance designers who we can call upon as needs arise. However, Technobots takes on the full contractual responsibility for delivering the project to the customer's specification. Being the size we are means we can offer a personal service at rates lower than you might expect without compromising on quality. Naturally we focus on projects that best match our areas of expertise and available facilities.  We do get requests from private individuals to 'help' build their projects but generally they find that commercial rates exceed what they had hoped to pay despite our rates being by industry standards very competitive.  Our customers for bespoke commissions tend to be from the manufacturing sector but other commercial enterprises have also used Technobots services.

Technobots can offer a surprisingly wide range of services including consultancy and bespoke design and build, if you are not sure if we can help then it is always worth asking. We have a small machine shop with lathes, milling machine, welding and fabrication tools as well as an electronics workshop and prototype PCB fabrication.

Consultancy

Our consulting engineer has a background in a number of industries including clean / waste water, incineration, waste to energy, recycling, nuclear, pharmaceutical & petrochem. Specialising in electrical and control engineering, we can provide assistance in the survey / assessment, specification, design, procurement, factory testing, build, commissioning and hand over of a project. Whether your project is a refurbishment of an existing facility or a new build, Technobots can assist with ensuring the success of your project.

Bespoke Design

Unlike many larger companies, we are happy to consider taking on any commission that falls within our expertise.  Technobots of course has at its disposal over 8,000 readily accessible products that can be used within its designs but naturally is not limited to these. We also have prototyping facilities for pcb production, milling and turning, welding etc.. which frequently allows for a complete solution.

We can also manage the process of putting a design into production, there really are no constraints, we are happy to assist to whatever degree the client requires. We have a number of clients who are best described as inventors who approach us to turn their idea into a prototype in complete confidence of course.

We have undertaken projects from the very simple such as the mass production of double ended crocodile clips to industrial control panels and complex microprocessor based equipment. The only significant area that we do not get involved with is the design of RF based technology unless using standard RF modules.
