DIY-correct a Mascot charger?

Hi, bought the Mascot 9640 (EU version) this week - arrived today - but it's got a hardwired DIN-style connector - it came with a pair of (red & black) crocodile clips - am I to cut the DIN plug off to attach the crocodile clips? And if so, how? Red to striped/plain? - black to striped/plain? Advice please. |

Hi, Yes, we enclose the crocodile clips for the user to fit if so wished. I have just checked our website and the guide lines that were there have now gone since the UK plug style were sold out and the product deleted. We will get this amended. In the mean time, its the red clip to the striped wire and the black to the plain black wire. Apologies for the confusion. |
