Cable Assembly Housings
Along with the matching pre-crimped wires, you can now make your own cable assemblies for your projects. The pre-crimped wires are available in various lengths and in a choice of 10 colours. The connector housings will be familiar to many RC model builders as they are the same style as that found on servos. However, rather than just stocking a 3-way housing, we now stock 1-16 way and 2x2 to 2x16-way. So as well as connecting to RC receivers, you can interconnect multiple circuit boards and ancilliaries such as motors and switches. See Pre-Crimped Wires
The housings work with our wires with pre-crimped terminals to let you quickly make custom cables that mate with various 0.1"-spaced connectors, including male or female headers and solderless breadboards. They are sold individually or in packs(see item for pack size).
Just pick the housing for the correct number of pins, pick the colors and genders for your wires, and snap them into the housings (note: it’s not easy to get the wires back out, so plan carefully!).
You can easily make cable harnesses or assemblies that branch from one connector on one side to multiple connectors on the other; you can also cut off one pre-crimped end and solder the wires directly to components to make swapping connections easy.
