No, this is a servo used typically in the RC market which uses a 1-2mS pulse every 20mS to set the position (or angle of rotation). 1mS is one extreme of rotation, 2mS is the other extreme and 1.5mS is midway between the two extremes. Total rotation is typically 90 to 120 degrees."

What is a NE555 potentiometer circuit?
This servo requires the industry standard 1-2mS pulse input with a frame time of 20mS as given out by the majority of RC receivers, servo controllers etc.."
