These dot matrix display modules employ Supertwist Nematic (STN) technology that provides excellent viewing angle and higher contrast over conventional designs.
Each module uses a 5x8 dot matrix for each character position, can display 224 different characters and symbols including a cursor. On-board RAM allows the user to produce any character pattern required.
Each module also has a low power variable intesity LED backlight.
Power consumption typically 1mA, 5V DC power supply, TTL & CMOS compatible to 4 or 8-bit microprocessors. Operates over the temperature range of 0-50 Deg C.
