i am looking to build a model locomotive using 4 of these 200w motors, i was just wondering if you have any more information on them and if they are permanant magnet or such like.

and also do you know if these are an ideal motor to use or are they not suitable for this application.

Rob,

Sorry but no more info available but they are permanent magnet. We have had a number of customers use these in loco's as well as using 4 of our 150W feather gold motors. Best to check with sales as these motors are end of line and we will not be getting any new stocks in any time soon.
