hi i'm looking for a 16mm bearing such as the pressed steel bearings, which can be easily attatched to wooden frame, when all you have is 15+17mm? its to match a 16mm steel rod to be attatched to 40 tooth sproket (16mm)? any direction in this area as to your products or places to get them would be great thanks

Hi Charlie,

16mm bearings are non-standard. We would love to stock them but we just cannot locate a supplier. The typical way of solving this is to use a 15mm bearing and turn down the end of your 16mm steel rod to 15mm. This has the advantage of ensuring the rod does not go all the way through the bearing due to the shoulder. However, if you do not have access to a lathe, this solution will not help you.
